We've Moved to a New Building
In November 2007, the CEM program moved to the new Jerry Yang and Akiko Yamazaki Environment and Energy Building. The new E&E building offers an environment in which students, faculty and researchers from all disciplines within CEE share the same building. Our ability to share resources, collaborate both casually and in formal, project-based contexts has been greatly enhanced, helping us realize our vision of broad collaboration to solve the challenging problems our industry faces.

Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. Make a right onto Campus Drive. Follow the Campus Drive loop until you reach Panama Street. Make a left onto Panama and continue to the multi-level parking structure at the corner of Panama and Via Ortega, where you will find hourly pay-parking.
From Highway 280
Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east past the traffic light at Santa Cruz Ave and turn right at Stock Farm Road. Turn left at the second road, Campus Drive West. Make a right onto Panama Street and continue to the multi-level parking structure at the corner of Panama and Via Ortega, where you will find hourly pay-parking.
From Caltrain
The Terman building is about 30 minutes walking distance from the Palo Alto Caltrain station: from the station, follow 'Palm Drive' into the center of campus, with downtown Palo Alto behind you. Alternatively, there is a free shuttle service (the 'Marguerite') from the Caltrain station to the center of campus. By train, Palo Alto is roughly one hour south of San Francisco, and thirty minutes north of San Jose.
