Construction Engineering and Management
The Construction Engineering and Management Program at Stanford University began in 1946. Since 1956, the CEM Program has been offering graduate-level degrees within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering.
The goals of the Construction Engineering and Management Program are:
- To prepare our graduates to be industry leaders who implement the best engineering and management practices and technologies in the construction industry.
- To continually work with industry to enhance the program's effectiveness and the opportunities for innovation in the construction industry.
- To conduct research to develop advanced technologies and management approaches.
We work closely with the faculty and students in the Design-Construction Integration Program and with the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE).
